Navy Awards SeaPort-e Contract to Apprio
Apprio to Provide IT and Support Services for Navy's e-Platform for Service Acquisition

(firmenpresse) - WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwire) -- 08/03/11 -- Apprio, Inc., a leading provider of healthcare IT, financial management and emergency response management services, today announced it has received a SeaPort-e Contract from the U.S. Navy. Apprio was selected to provide services to the Navy's electronic platform in 22 functional areas, including services such as engineering, financial management and program management.
The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst SeaPort-e indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract holders. Apprio will be able to compete in response to requests for quotes (RFQs) released through this contract.

The Seaport-e is the vehicle of choice for all commands and directorates under the U.S. Navy to procure IT, engineering and program management services. This $4 billion contract vehicle will be active for a period of five years with two possible option years.

Technical Data Support
Software Engineering, Development, Programming and Network Support
Information System (IS) Development
Information Assurance (IA)
Information Technology (IT) Support
