For the past 25 years, Aranow has been a healthcare IT leader and has worked extensively with leading healthcare providers, hospitals and government organizations.

In Aranow's former role as Senior Research Director with Health Care IT Advisor at The Advisory Board Company, she worked to deliver healthcare solutions to academic medical centers. With a diverse background, Aranow has experience working with business intelligence and analytics; IT strategy and planning; clinical information systems; electronic medical records and CPOE; and vendor assessments.
Prior to joining The Advisory Board Company, she served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Boston Medical Center (BMC) and formerly held leadership positions at Partners Healthcare and Brigham and Women's Hospital. In 2009, she was appointed by Governor Deval Patrick to the Healthcare IT Council for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which oversees the Commonwealth's development of a Regional Extension Center (REC) and Health Information Exchange (HIE).

Meg Aranow holds a Bachelor's degree from Wheaton College and a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University.
