PayPal, Worldpay, Visa Executives Join Emergent Payments Team
Adding CFO, Business Development Director and VP Merchant Solutions & Strategy to Address Growth

The new executives will enable Emergent Payments to address a new wave of growth, following the company's re-launch in June 2015 to focus on emerging markets.
The new executives include CFO, Joseph Podulka, previously a veteran at eBay; Business Development Director, Rob Freedman, previously Business Development Manager at Worldpay; and Vice President Merchant Solutions & Strategy, Pawan Chawla, previously Senior Director, Merchant Integration/Technical Account Management at Visa.

Joseph Podulka, CFO, Emergent Payments was previously a veteran at eBay, with roles including Head of Finance for PayPal New Ventures and PayPal Europe. Most recently Joseph was CFO, VP of Finance at HEARST, home to the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGate.com.
Rob Freedman, Business Development Director, Emergent Payments was previously Business Development Manager at Worldpay. Rob brings a wealth of new business sales experience with digital ecommerce for enterprise customers.
Pawan Chawla, Vice President Merchant Solutions & Strategy, Emergent Payments was previously Senior Director, Merchant Integration/Technical Account Management at Visa. Pawan has extensive experience in technology integration, solutions architecture, digital commerce and global payments.
