Treasury Shares Cancelled

In reference to the decision made by the shareholders of TGS at the Annual
General Meeting 3 June 2010 to cancel 950,450 treasury shares held, the
cancelation of these shares has now been registered in the Company Register in
Brønnøysund.
The Share Capital of TGS-NOPEC is thereafter 103,454,325 shares at a nominal
value of NOK 0.25 per share. The balance of treasury shares held after this
transaction is 789,750 shares.
