Grand Rapids Dentist Dr. Zwier Awarded Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – July 29 Dentist Dr. Peter J. Zwier, DDS, MAGD of Zwier Dentistry was awarded the 2015 Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Award (LLSR).

The Council of Dental Education at the [Academy of General Dentistry](http://www.agd.org/) (AGD) identified Dr. Zwier for his dedication to dentistry and volunteer and community service. The award recognizes professionals in the field who €œrecognize the need for continuous learning and to stay active both in organized dentistry and their communities."
"I was very honored to receive the LLFR. It was very satisfying to work hard to accomplish what was needed to receive this award. And I am very pleased to achieve this goal. Most of all, it serves to fine-tune and continually improve the service which I provide to my patients. And that is my greatest desire as a dentist," Dr. Zwier said.
Every year the AGD award LLSR's to professionals in dentistry. Fewer than 300 members have been recognized for this honor €“ only 2 Michigan Dentists received honors in 2014. Applicants of the award must meet mandated level requirements. Applicants must be AGD Masters, have completed 500 credit hours of continuing education, and performed 100 hours of AGD approved community or volunteer work. Dr. Zwier also completed over 1,600 hours of continued study in 17 different dental disciplines.

Dr. Zwier practices [cosmetic and family dentistry in Grand Rapids, Michigan](http://drpeterzwier.com/). For over 30 years, he and his staff have worked with individuals and families for dental health. Dr. Zwier is a Grand Rapids native; he has a history of working with organizations in the community. He has volunteered at Baxter Clinic as well as performed child dental exams with the Convoy of Hope Days in Grand Rapids. He continues to acquire expertise in his field and his active in state and national dental associations. Dr. Zwier continues to accept new patients and create patients' smiles.
