Verisk Insurance Solutions Names Maroun Mourad Senior Vice President of Commercial Lines Domestic and Global

JERSEY CITY, N.J., September 8, 2015 - Maroun Mourad, an insurance and
reinsurance industry executive with a 17-year domestic and international track
record, has joined Verisk Insurance Solutions as senior vice president of
Commercial Lines Domestic and Global, ISO Insurance Programs and Analytic
Services. Verisk Insurance Solutions is a leading source of information about
property/casualty insurance risk and a Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq:VRSK) business.
In his new role, Mourad will provide leadership in maintaining ISO's position in
the U.S. commercial insurance markets and help grow its footprint in the
specialty, reinsurance, and global space.
Mourad was most recently chief executive officer of Zurich Insurance Group's
Middle East operations based in Dubai. He started his career in underwriting at
Gen Re in San Francisco and later worked for the company in Paris and London. He
then joined AIG as vice president, profit center manager, and chief operating
officer for its European Financial Lines division. He later joined an Arch Re
subsidiary, Gulf Re, as chief operating officer to launch its start-up
reinsurance company in Dubai.
Mourad is a frequent speaker at industry events and recently published The
Insurance Management Playbook: A Leader's Guide. He received his bachelor of
arts and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of California at Berkeley.
