Barrick Announces Filing of Updated Technical Report for its Lagunas Norte Mine

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/11/15 -- Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE: ABX)(TSX: ABX) (Barrick or the "company") today announced that it has filed an updated National Instrument 43-101 technical report (the "Technical Report") on SEDAR and EDGAR for its Lagunas Norte mine in Peru.

The Technical Report supports the disclosure contained in Barrick's news release of August 5, 2015, announcing the completion of a Preliminary Economic Assessment on the Refractory Material Mine Life Extension Project at Lagunas Norte.
