Evertz Technologies Announces Results of Annual General Meeting

Evertz Technologies Limited ("Evertz" or the "Company") (TSX: ET), the leader in Software Defined Video Network ("SDVN") technology, held its 2015 Annual Meeting of Shareholders on September 9, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario and the results of the voting are as follows:
Election of Directors
The five nominees listed in the management information circular for the meeting were elected as directors of the Company. Detailed results of the vote for the election of such nominees based on proxies received are set out below.
In addition to the nominees listed in the information circular, Messrs. Rakesh Patel and Brian Piccioni were nominated for election as directors at the meeting and were elected unanimously pursuant to a vote by show of hands. Accordingly, the Company now has seven directors. Mr. Patel is the Chief Technology Officer of the Company and Mr. Piccioni is an independent director.
Re-appointment of Auditor
The resolution re-appointing Deloitte LLP as the Company's auditors and authorizing the directors of the Company to determine the auditors' remuneration was unanimously carried pursuant to a vote by show of hands.
Re-approval of Stock Option Plan
The resolution to re-approve the Company's stock option plan and to approve all unallocated options thereunder was unanimously carried pursuant to a vote by show of hands.
