Third Party Benchmark Finds That Microsoft Azure Has Limitations in Protecting 500GB or More in a 12-Hour Backup Window

The benchmark review also discusses the complexity of the Microsoft Azure pricing model which makes it cost restrictive, in addition to its limitation in protecting more than 500GB within a typical 12-hour backup window.

In the test, an initial backup of 490GB of data was made to the cloud. Following this, 5% (approximately 25GB) of data was changed, then a second incremental backup was made for both services. This produced the following results:
