Direct Energie is proud to announce that the group will become sponsor of SA
Vendée Cyclisme, Jean-René Bernaudeau's pro cycling team which will bear the
name « Direct Energie » in January 2016. Direct Energie will be a leading team,
with iconic champions such as Thomas Voeckler, Sylvain Chavanel, Bryan Coquard
and Romain Sicard.
Direct Energie succeeds Europcar, which took over Bouygues Télécom in 2011. For
France's third-largest electricity and gas provider serving 1.5 million
customers in France and Belgium (with the Poweo brand), it is a unique
opportunity to raise its awareness and enhance its brand image. Direct Energie
cycling team will be a key asset to the company's visibility on major French and
international races.
