Glenmede Names Lee Miller Regional Director of Firm's New York Office
NYC Office Appoints 25-Year Industry Leader as Director and Welcomes Lea Emery
(firmenpresse) - PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/29/15 -- Glenmede, a privately-held and independently owned investment and wealth management firm with $30 billion in assets under management (AUM), announces the appointment of Lee P. Miller as Regional Director of the firm's New York office. Ms. Miller, an industry leader specializing in multi-generational wealth and legacy planning, trust administration and philanthropy, joined Glenmede in 2009 as a senior Relationship Manager and a founding member of the New York office.
As Regional Director, Ms. Miller is responsible for managing the growth and day-to-day operations of the office and for the ongoing development of the investment management and wealth advisory professionals serving the Greater Metropolitan Area. Ms. Miller reports to Howard E.N. (Chip) Wilson, Glenmede's Executive Director of Relationship Management.

In conjunction with Ms. Miller's promotion, Glenmede also welcomes Lea Emery to the New York office. Ms. Emery joins the firm as a Business Development Director, bringing in-depth knowledge of individual and institutional investments, and philanthropic strategy with an emphasis in fine art and family office concerns. She has 25 years of private wealth management and nonprofit experience, most recently working as Senior Vice President and Deputy International Commercial Director at Christie's. She was previously Managing Director of the Charitable Services Group in US Bank's Private Client Group. Ms. Emery will report to Ms. Miller.
Ms. Miller is a member of the Board of Trustees of Emory University, a Trustee of the Preservation League of NY State, and a docent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and member of the museum's Professional Advisory Council. In 2015, she was selected as one of the '50 Most Influential Women in Private Wealth' by Private Asset Management, and in 2009, Ms. Miller was sworn in at the U.S. Supreme Court. Prior to joining Glenmede, she was on the Management Team of Threshold Group, a multi-family office and previously spent 18 years with U.S. Trust's Wealth Management Group in New York, most recently working as a Managing Director and Senior Fiduciary Officer. Ms. Miller earned her JD from Emory University and her BA in American History from the University of Pennsylvania.
