Market Manager, Josten Froats, announced Champion Promotions' plan to help new managers open two additional locations by the end of this year, increasing management and employment opportunities at the company.
Froats, who was listed as the top Market Manager in the country on September 24, 2015, plans to facilitate this growth by expanding the in-house management training program that Champion Promotions uses to develop entry level employees into their respective career paths at the company. Champion Promotions is an organization that promotes entirely from within to guarantee that all managers have a firm foundation in the business and can help employees at any level in the company. Shattering the usual corporate glass-ceiling structure, pays to develop all employees, teaching in areas such as marketing and sales strategy, business development, and communications.
As a graduate of the management training program at Champion Promotions, Froats has found success as a corporate trainer and marketing strategist by providing one-on-one time with each of his employees as they grow with the company. As a manager, Froats stated, "I train by going into the field with my employees and developing guys personally." As a Market Manager, Froats leads his team by example showing employees that no job is too small when it comes to providing excellent customer service or helping with a marketing campaign.
Market Manager Froats spoke highly of his most recent trainees, Kevin Gibbens, Brandon Strozyk, and Dylan Schackman, for their recent push toward management roles at Champion Promotions. When asked about what makes each successful as leaders, Froats remarked, "Brandon is former military and one of the hardest workers I have ever seen in my life. Dylan has helped us open offices across the country and is especially good at training and developing others. And last but not least, Kevin is a great guy who does what he does for his family and to grow and develop." Each of these leaders comes from different backgrounds and has different reasons for getting up and starting each day with the desire to succeed. While they may differ in motivation, Gibbens, Strozyk, and Schackman have one thing in common -- a desire to build a career and make Champion Promotions a success.
In addition to management training, the company culture at Champion Promotions centers around the competitive yet friendly nature of the team around the office. Froats asserted that one of Champion's favorite past-times is a game called WhirlyBall. Once a week, the team gathers at Twin Cities in Maple Grove. Nights like theses give Champion's employees the opportunity to network with each other outside of the office and forge strong connections with other members of the team. Froats maintains that networking allows his team to learn and develop skills that will be crucial to them as managers.
Champion Promotions Inc. plans to take eight employees to a national networking and marketing seminar on October 14, 2015 in Chicago. At the conference, new leaders will benefit from one-on-ones with top leaders and marketing experts from across the nation. Froats said that conferences like this one are an investment in employees and the company. He stated, "This conference will be the roadmap to see what we need to do to expand and become the number one office in the country at what we do."
