Michael Wekerle Acquires Additional Shares in Difference Capital Financial Inc.
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/01/15 -- Michael Wekerle, Chairman of the board of directors of Difference Capital Financial Inc. (TSX: DCF)(TSX: DCF.DB) ("DCF"), has acquired an additional stake in DCF.
On September 30, 2015, Michael Wekerle purchased 4,054,500 common shares of DCF ("DCF Shares") at a price of $0.75 per DCF Share (the "Transaction"). The DCF Shares acquired by Michael Wekerle represent an aggregate of approximately 11.3% of the currently issued and outstanding DCF Shares. Michael Wekerle relied upon the exemption under Section 100.1 of the Ontario Securities Act to make this purchase.
Immediately following the completion of the Transaction, Michael Wekerle owned and controlled 13,366,558 DCF Shares, representing approximately 37.2% of the total outstanding DCF Shares.
