AIA|DC Announces "2015 Chapter Design Awards" & Kick-Off of New "People's Choice" Award
Awards Program Celebrates Variety of Excellence in Architectural Design
(firmenpresse) - WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwired) -- 10/08/15 -- The Washington Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA|DC) announced the winners of its 2015 Design Awards, highlighted by 24 outstanding examples of architecture, interior architecture, historic resources, and urban design/master planning.
Selected from 185 submissions by an esteemed of architectural experts from across the country, these notable projects and practitioners demonstrate the impact and value of good design, and the wide variety of services performed by architects.
The 2015 Awards program also kicks-off the inaugural "People's Choice Award," giving the public the opportunity to vote on their favorite project from the juried selections. The special award will be presented at the Exhibit Opening on November 23rd at the District Architecture Center.
The public is encouraged to vote on their favorite project through Facebook or online survey.
