OKMETIC'S ORGANISATION REVISED
Okmetic's organisation has been revised and certain job descriptions have been
specified according to the company's updated strategy.
In the future, Senior Vice President, Sensor Business and Product Development
Anna-Riikka Vuorikari-Antikainen will be in charge of the entire product
portfolio including not only product development but also existing products and
the development of product portfolio.
Senior Vice President, Production Jaakko Montonen will in the future be
responsible for the supply chain. In addition to the company's own production,
Montonen's remit will from now on cover also development of contract
manufacturing (fab lite) and sourcing.
Deputy to the President and Executive Vice President, Sales Mikko Montonen will
be responsible not only for customer relations and sales but also for technical
customer support and marketing.
Senior Vice President, Human Resources Markus Virtanen's new areas of
responsibility include quality and environmental issues.
Petri Antola, who is in charge of company's Asian sales, will join the executive
management group and be responsible for technology project sales. This position
is a new one in the executive management group. Beside his new responsibilities,
Antola will continue as Vice President, Sales Asia until his successor has been
appointed.
Following the above mentioned changes, Okmetic's executive management group
consists of the following persons:
- Kai Seikku, President
- Mikko Montonen, Executive Vice President, Sales and Deputy to the President
- Juha Jaatinen, Senior Vice President, Finance, IT, and Communications
- Anna-Riikka Vuorikari-Antikainen, Senior Vice President, Products
- Jaakko Montonen, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain
- Markku Tilli, Senior Vice President, Research
- Markus Virtanen, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Quality, and
Environment
- Petri Antola, Senior Vice President, Technology Projects
The new management structure is effective immediately.
