OKMETIC'S CAPITAL MARKETS DAY
Okmetic Oyj arranges a Capital Markets Day targeted for institutional investors
and analysts in Helsinki today 17 September starting at 9.00 a.m. During the
event the company management will present business projections, company strategy
and core objectives. The presentation materials will be available at the
company's website, www.okmetic.com, today Friday at 9.00 a.m.
Okmetic's strategy aims at profitable growth. The growth strategy is based on
the company's core competencies as well as on commercialisation and
productisation of long-term development projects. Crystal growing, sensor wafer
manufacturing and customer relationship management are Okmetic's core areas of
expertise. Production capacity will be increased according to the so-called fab
lite -model where additional flexibility is searched through the increase of
contract manufacturing. Technology project sales will be strengthened through
operational changes, and at the same time there will be organisational changes
as announced in the previous stock exchange release.
At the same time the company confirms the existing business objectives. Organic
growth of net sales is at least 6 percent per annum and operating profit
accounts for more than 10 percent of net sales.
