Ashburton Options Buckingham Project

(TSX VENTURE: ABR)(FRANKFURT: ARB) ("Ashburton" or the "Company") is pleased to announce it has acquired an option to earn a 60% interest in the Buckingham graphite project which consists of 28 claims located in Ranges VIII and IX, Buckingham Township, Quebec and covers an area of 1,682.8 hectares (4,157 acres).

Terms of the deal, from a non arms length vendor, to acquire a 60% interest in Buckingham include the issuance of 1.5 million shares and incur $200,000 expenditures year one and the further issuance of 1.5 million shares, incur $250,000 expenditures and pay $25,000 cash year two. This transaction is subject to TSX Venture approval.
