The tools made available through this joint offering will allow users to experience an improved reverse engineering process that begins with scans created using Artec's professional grade handheld scanners. The Artec Eva and Space Spider enable users to easily capture objects of varying sizes and degrees of complexity in high resolution and vibrant color, making them the tools of choice for scanning a broad range of items, especially those with sharp edges or small parts that may be difficult to recreate any other way.

The finished model can then be exported to the Geomagic Design X platform to create feature-based, editable solid models compatible with popular MCAD platforms.
