On August 31, 2010, Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA decided to change Dräger Medical AG
& Co. KG into a limited company (GmbH). This change was entered in the company's
commercial register today. It forms part of the buyback of the 25 percent share
in the medical division from Siemens and will simplify the shareholder
structure, therefore reducing complexity within the company. The change into
Dräger Medical GmbH, a fully owned subsidiary of Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA, has
herewith become effective.
Dr. Christian Hauer was appointed as general manager of Dräger Medical GmbH. He
will assume this position on top of his existing position as head of global
marketing, sales and service in the medical division.
