Natures Comfort Meds Patent Approved for Botanical Extractions From Cannabis and Hemp
(firmenpresse) - PROVIDENCE, RI -- (Marketwired) -- 10/26/15 -- (NCM), registered mutual benefit nonprofit manufacturer and distributor of RSO based oils, gel capsules, topical, and autoimmune treatment products, announces the award of United States patent (14/182-631) for their medical marijuana and hemp cannabis extraction process.
According to Frederick R. Ferri, NCM founder, "NCM is one among few of the world's patent holders regarding botanical extractions from cannabis and hemp plants. We are very excited in what we're able to do with our process."
Mr. Ferri added, "NCM has been researching and developing RSO based medicinal products since 2009; our application has been pending over a year and is a reality. We are now in a position to develop a partnership or mutually beneficial licensee to obtain the right to produce and distribute NCM's oils."
NCM is dedicated to the advancement of botanical extractions as alternative solutions to available synthetic medications and common medical treatments. NCM research and development has resulted in positive benefits for treating illnesses including veterans suffering from PTSD, children with autism, various types of cancer, patients with a variety of neurological disorders and pain management, and auto-immune disorders.
Mr. Ferri explained that, "NCM has been working on isolating strains of hemp and cannabis for cultivation, to preform extraction, processing, and testing, for their distinct cannibidiol and cannibinoid chains (CBD). We are in trials of CBD isolation and enhancement by combining productive strains found to have complementary benefits. We are pursuing access to hemp cultivation for further study evolving CBD concentrations. High CBD low THC, equal concentrations CBD/THC, and high THC low CBD studies need to be ongoing now that we are designing extracts for these traits."
