The new hardware solution, designed to support mPOP™ is on display at the Star Micronics booth (1349) at the Money 20/20 expo in Las Vegas.
PopTop for Star Micronics mPOP™ is a powder-coated, steel platform that enables any WindFall® Stand to securely mount and pivot atop the Star Micronics mPOP™. With several color options, and broad support for a variety of popular tablets and software platforms, distributors and independent software vendors can create distinctive and complete mPOS (mobile point of sale) hardware bundles for their customers.
The WindFall® PopTop for Star Micronics mPOP™ was developed out of direct feedback Heckler Design received from shop owners. Many are frequently frustrated with the complexities of their point-of-sale hardware, and Star Micronics mPOP™ eliminates many of these. Shop owners also want the sleek design, color selection, and commercial-grade construction the WindFall® point-of-sale hardware offers.

The mPOP™ combines a two-inch thermal receipt printer with "Drop-In and Print" paper loading, and a compact cash drawer with bill and coin slots. For added security, a locking base bracket is included with the mPOP™ to ensure reliable mounting on countertops. Enhancing its functionality, the mPOP™ includes USB ports for charging external devices, optional plug and play barcode scanner.
