Donation Drive to Benefit Westside Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving season, the Hollywood Production Center is proud to announce that all of its locations will host donation drives to benefit the Westside Thanksgiving Community Dinner & Celebration for low income families and the homeless. Donations include food items, such as stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, and turkey gravy as well as clothing and funds to pay for tables, lights, and security. They will also accept home cooked turkeys on Thanksgiving Day.
Westside Thanksgiving Community Dinner & Celebration depends on the donations and volunteer help of generous people like you. Donated food, clothing, and funds make it possible to serve thousands of people who would otherwise go without on Thanksgiving. For a complete list of needed items and to donate online, visit
October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Hollywood Production Center would like to thank all those who donated at the Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser in Glendale on W. Lexington Drive. And thanks also goes out to all those who helped make the event possible, creating and passing out pins, pamphlets, and brochures.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. The National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor Janelle Hail and continues to grow every year to help more and more women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and providing free mammograms to women in need.
