Phoenix Integrated Store Consultants' CJ Young Nominated for 2015 Manager of the Year

The trip provided Representatives from the Atlanta office with the opportunity to network with other marketing professionals from across the nation and unwind after a year of hard work. One of the highlights of the trip was the national awards ceremony where Phoenix managers -- Jordan, Mike, David, Chris, and CJ -- were recognized for their exemplary performance for the year.
Market Manager, CJ Young, who received a nomination for the 2015 Manager of the Year Award expressed his excitement, stating, "As a team, we always strive to be the best in everything that we do. As a manager, I strive to hold myself and my team accountable to a higher standard. Being nominated this year shows me how far we have come and how far we have to go to reach our goals. I am definitely excited to see what next year holds." Having gotten his team to top in the nation for five weeks consecutively, Young demonstrates exemplary management and motivation skills, proving that it is imperative for managers to lead by example and set team goals. Taking top managers to the Bahamas was Phoenix's way of celebrating the goals that they have met as a team from taking on new clients in the security and communications industries and promoting new managers through the company's management training program.
In addition to taking managers, Young also brought Phoenix's Admin Team -- Monica, Halie, Kim, and Elizabeth -- to the Bahamas as well. When asked about her first experience that the company's annual R&R Trip, Monica asserted, "It was a spectacular vacation. Even though it rained, we had a blast playing in the water, exploring the resort, shopping in Nassau, and getting to meet a ton of great managers from across the nation." Monica used her trip to build lasting relationships with managers and business partners. By creating contacts within the business on a national scale, her goal is to have a network that she can use if she may need to collaborate on a project in the future.
When asked why Phoenix Integrated Store Consultants provides travel opportunities like this one to employees, Young asserted, "We take our manager and admins on vacation because we want to express our appreciation for all of their hard work and give them an opportunity to recharge as we hit the fourth quarter." This fourth quarter is particularly important for Phoenix because Market Manager, Young, has big goals to expand once more with the addition of a brand new client in the communications industry. To facilitate this expansion, Phoenix is gearing up to promote Assistant Manager, Sydarrian Edwards, to Market Manager through the company's in-house management training program. The program was designed to develop employees who start at the company at entry level and train them in a background of business development, teambuilding, communications, as well as marketing and sales strategy. The program creates a momentum mentality that is integral to Phoenix's company culture.
Like the mythical phoenix, Phoenix Integrated Store Consultants has plans to rise as a company and as a force for positivity in the Atlanta community.
