New movement exerciser: The „e-bike“ for upper body- and leg training whatever the weather
(firmenpresse) - Hochdorf, November 9th, 2015 – Beginning of October medica Medizintechnik GmbH launched the sale of the innovative movement exerciser THERA-Trainer mobi. The small and handy active-passive exerciser for arms and legs is suitable for mobilisation of people with or without physical limitations. It was designed especially for daily use at home and mobile use in the facility. Since 25 years medica Medizintechnik develops training devices „for a life in motion“. General manager Peter Kopf: „We all know that wellbeing in body and mind are linked closely to daily movement “. And: „Our training- and therapy concepts are especially adjusted to give back the lost flexibility to people with limitations. Now the THERA-Trainer mobi joins the range of products of these professional developments.“
The THERA-Trainer mobi offers active (with muscle power), assistive and passive (with motor) movement exercising. The medical product is perfectly suitable for people with general infirmity. But also for medical conditions like diabetes, stroke, rheumatism, arthrosis, dementia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease with minor physical restrictions.
A rolling stone gathers no moss
The THERA-Trainer mobi promotes the preservation of flexibility – not only for people with medical conditions - when exercising regularly. Additionally it promotes the activation of the cardiovascular system and the metabolism. An additional plus: Increasing the endurance, keeping and strengthening of the muscle power and stabilisation of the psyche.
Easy to use and flexible
An easy and intuitive handling allows fast and easy adaptation of the most important training parameters on the 2,7“ colour screen; supported by the well-tried THERA-Trainer START/STOP traffic light control. The ergonomic housing is easy to clean, as well as the foot rests and therapy grips of the medial product. These you can change easily from leg- to upper body exercising without tools. This makes it easy to change also for elderly people – without using any tools. Furthermore, the movement exerciser is only about 13 kg heavy with an allowed maximum patient weight of up to 140 kg.
Made in Germany: Quality and safety at the focal point
The THERA-Trainer mobi scores with its soft start and stop for forward and backward direction of rotation. A very good stability and slip resistance as well as a safety-stop button ensures a safe use. The training resistance and training time can be adjusted in many steps. All important training parameters like distance, duration of the training, number of rotations, performance, and calorie consumption are shown. A very quiet motor with harmonic rotation makes the training comfort complete. An electric motor with 100 Watt power output makes the THERA-Trainer mobi one of the most efficient exercisers in its class.
