Docdata wins the 2015 Dutch Logistics Award
(Thomson Reuters ONE) -
Docdata has been announced as the winner of the Dutch Logistics Award 2015. This
evening, the silver statue was presented by the president of the jury, Dr Walter
Ploos van Amstel, at an exclusive dinner. The jury described Docdata as the
logistics engine behind the success of many online shops throughout Europe.
The Dutch Logistics Award is a prestigious award in the Netherlands. The jury
consists of four distinguished professionals who assess the organisation based
on nine criteria. The decision was made following a number of intensive
preliminary rounds, during which the nominated companies got the opportunity to
present themselves across a number of specific areas.
Jack Heijkans, Managing Director of Docdata Fulfilment B.V.: "We are very
honoured to be receiving this prestigious prize. I view it as the crowning glory
of our work. Docdata has been a pioneer in the field of e-commerce services
for many years now. Our enterprising and flexible approach, our customers, who
have put their trust in our services for many years now, but also - and
especially - our dedicated team have brought us to where we are today, and
enabled us to achieve a prominent 'Thought Leadership' position in the European
market. The fact that this is now being honoured by this award serves as a
tremendous recognition of the work we have done."
Dr Walter Ploos van Amstel: "Docdata is constantly focused on helping its
customers increase their turnover. For years, Docdata has been dealing very
successfully with fluctuations in order volumes, with the peaks getting higher
and higher, and the range of products increasingly varied. We were struck by the
high level of professionalism in Docdata's approach to organising logistics.
Docdata has demonstrated that supply chain management ultimately depends on the
people involved, and that only a top team will be able to achieve top results. "
