(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/25/15 -- PetroMaroc Corporation plc (TSX VENTURE: PMA), an independent oil and gas company focused on Morocco (the "Company" or "PetroMaroc") is pleased to announce its financial and operating results for the third quarter of 2015.
During the third quarter the Company advanced the strategic and financial alternatives process with several interested parties. Monthly general and administrative costs totalled US$0.13 million (which includes accrued directors Fees), with the Company continuing to reduce ongoing general and administrative costs where possible. Subsequent to the quarter-end, the Company closed a Cdn$1.0 million secured non-convertible debenture financing to provide funds for immediate working capital requirements. Commenting, D. Campbell Deacon, Interim CEO of PetroMaroc, said: "We have been in intensive negotiations with a number of seriously interested parties since August 2015. We hope to announce an agreement to test the Kechoula structure on the Sidi Moktar Licence before the end of 2015.
