Advisory: Omar Khadr's Lawyer, Dennis Edney, to Address Ontario's Labour Movement

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/25/15 -- On Wednesday, November 25, esteemed lawyer, Dennis Edney will address delegates to the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) 2015 Convention about his decade-long representation of former child soldier, Omar Khadr, who was recently released on bail in Alberta.

Edney will address delegates on the broader issue of the rule of law in the age of fear, as well as the Canadian government's shameful role in sending a Canadian citizen to an American prison known as a place of torture.
