WVT Communications Designates New President of Warwick Valley Telephone Company

(firmenpresse) - WARWICK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 08/08/11 -- Duane Albro, President and CEO of WVT Communications (WVT) (NASDAQ: WWVY), has announced that Virginia Quackenbush has been designated President, Warwick Valley Telephone Company, a division of WVT Communications. Her duties will include overseeing all telephone operations in the areas where Warwick Valley Telephone Co. is the incumbent franchise telephone provider, including Warwick, Pine Island and Florida, NY; Vernon and Upper Greenwood Lake, NJ.

This move will enable Duane Albro, who remains the President and CEO of WVT Communications and its affiliate companies, to shift his focus toward strategic growth of the overall business.

Ms. Quackenbush has 32 years of experience in nearly every facet of telecom at WVT. "I'm very excited about this new opportunity. I love our customers and our employees.
