Canacol Energy Ltd. Delays Annual General Meeting Until 2016

("Canacol" or the "Corporation") (TSX: CNE) (OTCQX: CNNEF) (BVC: CNEC) wishes to inform stakeholders that it intends to hold its next annual general meeting ("AGM") on or before April 30, 2016. This delay in holding the AGM has been approved by the Toronto Stock Exchange, and arises from the Company's previously announced decision to change its year end to December 31, and its preference to avoid holding two AGM's within a short period of time.
