THIN - Mandatory notice of trade

Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") issues this notice on behalf of certain
primary insiders in Thinfilm who today received subscription rights ("SRs")
under Thinfilm's 2010 Subscription Rights Incentive Plan.
The exercise price of the SRs is NOK 0.80 per share. 25 per cent of the SRs vest
at each anniversary from the date of the grant. The SRs expire on 7 May 2015.
Davor Sutija, CEO, received 2,500,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Sutija
and close associates hold or control 1,000,000 shares and 3,500,000 SRs and nil
warrants to shares in Thinfilm.
Erling Svela, CFO, received 600,000 SRs. Following the transaction, Mr. Svela
and close associates hold or control zero shares and 870,000 SRs in Thinfilm.
Geir Harald Aase, VP of Communications and IR, received 600,000 SRs. Following
the transaction, Mr. Aase and close associates hold or control 5,000 shares and
800,000 SRs in Thinfilm.
