Barrick Announces Appointment of J. Robert S. Prichard to Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 12/02/15 -- Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE: ABX)(TSX: ABX) today announced that it has appointed J. Robert S. Prichard to the company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Prichard is a distinguished leader with a broad range of executive experience in business, law, higher education and public service. He currently serves as Chairman of Torys LLP, BMO Financial Group and Metrolinx. Mr. Prichard was President of the University of Toronto from 1990 to 2000 and President and CEO of Torstar Corporation from 2002 to 2009. He has also taught Law at the University of Toronto, Harvard University and Yale University. Mr. Prichard is an Officer of the Order of Canada, a Member of the Order of Ontario and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada?.
