Underprivileged Students to Benefit From Donation of Essential School Items
(firmenpresse) - SINGAPORE -- (Marketwired) -- 12/04/15 -- School bags, stationary, and vouchers -- these were among the list of items that volunteers from (BSA) distributed today to underprivileged students from various walks of life. More than 100 students benefited from the donation drive, which was a Christmas initiative to help the students prepare for the upcoming school year.
"As part of our ongoing initiative to contribute positively to the local community, we believe everyone can play an active role to serve the less fortunate. "A friend in need is a friend indeed. We thank Konica Minolta for sponsoring these gifts during this time of the year when expenses are high, and being a friend to our families", said Gerard Ee, Executive Director of Beyond Social Services.
"This is an unique initiative for us as", she continued. "Konica Minolta BSA organises CSR activities at least once every quarter, but this was the first time we has undertaken a donation drive of this nature. It was truly heart-warming."
