Pan Orient Energy Corp.: Departure of Chief Operating Officer

("Pan Orient" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: POE) announced today that Chief Operating Officer Edward Bush is leaving the Corporation at the end of his employment agreement on December 4, 2015. Mr. Bush is based in Jakarta, Indonesia and has been with Pan Orient in various capacities since 2007 (other than for a one year period ending in January 2013). Pan Orient thanks Mr. Bush for his many contributions and wishes him well in the future.
President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Chisholm, based in Bangkok, Thailand, will assume the duties presently carried on by Mr. Bush.
Pan Orient is a Calgary, Alberta based oil and gas exploration and production company with operations currently located onshore Thailand and Indonesia and in Western Canada.
