Krew Mobile Announces a Breakthrough Prepaid Wireless Service for Parents and Kids

Every Krew Mobile account (or "Krew") includes a parent line with unlimited nationwide talk, text, and data, plus two free kid lines each with nationwide talk and text. The kids' lines can be remotely enabled on-demand by parents who simply send a text message command from their own mobile phone.
Until parents activate their phone lines, kids won't be able to call or text anyone outside the Krew. Members of each Krew can message each other at any time using patent-pending Krew Messaging™ without needing to rely on free Wi-Fi hotspots. If kids want to make a call or text outside the Krew, they can use the Krew Messaging™ feature to ask mom or dad to remotely activate their phone line.
The American Academy of Pediatrics revealed last month that most kids in the U.S. will have their own personal mobile device by the time they are 4 years old. According to another survey conducted for the National Consumers League, 84% of parents say safety is the top reason for giving them one. But the costs involved in maintaining a cellular plan for their children is an issue.
