Names Mitsubishi Veteran Koichi Narasaki Chief Operating Officer; Furthers Commitment to OpenStack

The company also named Mitsubishi, Access Co., Ltd. and IP Infusion veteran Koichi Narasaki as chief operating officer (COO).
At Midokura, Mr. Narasaki will be responsible for overall global operations, including business development, sales and marketing. Prior to joining Midokura, Koichi served as CSO and COO of Access Co., where he led several corporate development initiatives and oversaw the acquisition of two Silicon Valley tech companies, Palmsource and IP Infusion. He expanded the OEM business at Palmsource by $150M through licensing its patented smartphone technology to tech leaders, including Apple, Samsung and Microsoft. Once IP Infusion became a wholly owned, independently operated subsidiary of Access Co., Koichi was named CEO of IP Infusion.
Prior to Access Co., Mr. Narasaki spent 20 years at Mitsubishi as general manager where he drove global business developments in the wireless and networking technologies sector. Mr. Narasaki has held several other senior vice president roles at other leading software companies as well.
