Nordea secures a significant real estate financing agreement in Finland

Nordea has purchased a tranche of the real estate lending portfolio of Eurohypo
AG in Finland by way of an agreement that includes a financing agreement for the
Forum business premises in Helsinki.
- This major agreement strengthens Nordea's position as a real
estate financier. It also signals to international real estate investors that
Nordea is interested in financing real estate lending portfolios with good
credit ratings, says Timo Nyman, Head of Construction & Real Estate Finance.
Nordea's stake in Eurohypo AG's portfolio is worth more than EUR 200 million.
The agreement was announced today at the Expo Real trade fair held in Munich,
one of the most important trade fairs for commercial property in which Nordea is
among the companies participating.
