SouthGobi Resources Announces Retirement of W. Gordon Lancaster as Director

(TSX: SGQ)(HKSE: 1878) ("SouthGobi" or the "Company") today announces that Mr. Gordon Lancaster has retired as an independent non-executive director, chairman of the Compensation and Benefits Committee, and member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and Audit Committee of the Company in order to focus on his consulting business and family, effective on December 14, 2015.
Mr. Ningqiao Li, Chairman of the Board, said, "Since joining the Board in 2010, Gordon has made outstanding contributions to the Company with his professional expertise and extensive experience.
