List of Fintech Leaders Identifies PromisePay's Fully Managed Payments Platform as an Emerging Star

The report, published by investment firm H2 Ventures and KPMG, includes the leading 50 established Fintech companies across the globe and the most intriguing 50 'Emerging Stars.'
The 'Fintech 100' report includes 40 companies from the Americas, 20 companies from EMEA, 18 companies from the UK and 22 companies from the Asia-Pacific region, including 10 from Australia and New Zealand.
The Fintech 100 in 2015 includes:
25 payments and transactions companies
22 lending companies
14 wealth companies and
7 insurance companies
The list has become a definitive summary of the most successful and fast growth companies in the fintech space across the world. Other members of the Global Fintech 100 list include Square, Stripe, FundingCircle, LendingClub, TransferWise and Angellist.
According to the report, fintech is defined as the "combination of technology and financial services resulting in the disruption of the finance industry" and this sector has seen substantial growth over recent years. Global fintech financing has risen seven-fold over the past three years to an estimated US$20billion for 2015, a rise of 66% on the level of investment in 2014.
