Statement: WWF Applauds Electric Vehicle Announcement by Premier McGuinty
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/09/11 -- WWF welcomes today's announcement by Premier Dalton McGuinty of funding for electric vehicle charging stations. This is one of a suite of measures taken by the provincial government to promote the use of electric vehicles, along with other initiatives like a rebate available on electric vehicle purchases. Electric vehicles play an important role in WWF's vision for achieving 100 per cent renewable energy by 2050, as outlined in WWF's global .
