Fire on production line 4 at Neste Oil's Porvoo refinery
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - A fire broke out on the main diesel production line at Neste Oil'sPorvoo refinery this morning. The fire, which started most likelyfrom a leak from a heat exchanger, lasted a little over an hour, andthe unit has been shut down for inspection and repairs. The extent ofthe damage is being investigated, and the initial estimation is thatrepair work will take a couple of weeks.The fire did not result in any injury to personnel and did not pose adanger to anyone outside the immediate area.
