Extra Space Storage(R) of Columbia Partners With Forest Lake Elementary School

The donation will take place on Monday, August 15, 2011 starting at 3:00 pm at Extra Space Storage, located at 2500 Decker Boulevard in Columbia. Parents of kindergarten and first grade students can stop by with their children until 5:00 pm and pick up a tote bag filled with essential school supplies. Forms authorizing the supply pick-up will be handed out at the school. Parents will need to bring the form to be given the supplies.
Juli Blalock, President of the Forest Lake Parent Teacher Organization, had this to say about the donation: "When families are struggling to cover the cost of record high electric bills during one of the hottest summers on record, it's nice to have a caring business partner in the community that is looking out for the wellbeing of our children's education by providing essential school supplies for the upcoming year.
