Wistner Moves to New Senior Role With the Firm
(firmenpresse) - SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwired) -- 01/13/16 -- Mercato Partners, a leading lower-middle market growth equity firm, today announced the promotion of Alison Wistner to Managing Director. Wistner, who has been with Mercato Partners since 2010, most recently as a Director and investment committee member, assumes the new role immediately. She currently serves on the board of a number of Mercato portfolio companies, including Altitude Digital, Alliance Health, Central Logic, Untangle, and Venafi.

Prior to Mercato Partners, Alison was a Principal at Prospector Equity Capital, a private equity firm based in Park City, Utah. She has received honors as a Top 40 under Forty winner by Utah Business Magazine and was a recipient of the Trailblazer Award from the Women Tech Council. Alison serves as a board advisor to the Women Tech Council and a board member of the Rocky Mountain Venture Capital Association. Alison is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a B.S. in Business Finance.
