(PresseBox) - 01.2016 - OPEN MIND Technologies AG, the company that brings you the hyperMILL® CAM system, is one of the event partners the DMG MORI open house, scheduled to take place from 26?30 January 2016 at DECKEL MAHO in Pfronten, Germany.
Visitors will have five days to see for themselves just what the high-performance hyperMILL® CAM solution has to offer. The CAM solution will be deployed on a total of 15 high-tech machine tools. The live machining operations being performed on a number of different machines demonstrate the wide range of uses for hyperMILL®. A variety of aerospace and automotive parts, milling/turning as well as gearing components, will be milled.
One of the top highlights includes highly efficient milling operations using the roughing cycles from the hyperMILL® MAXX Machining performance package. The roughing module ensures extremely fast material removal, and is the ideal solution for reliable, high-speed HPC machining in spiral and trochoidal tool paths. This high-performance roughing strategy is available to users for operations ranging from 2D to 5axis simultaneous.
hyperMILL® MAXX Machining is an optional performance package containing a suite of three ultra-high performance strategies for roughing, finishing and drilling. OPEN MIND, the 5-axis pioneer from Germany, will be showcasing this package with the latest version of the hyperMILL® 2016.1 CAM solution.
