Marc Ching, Founder of Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, Focused on Rescuing and Rehabilitating Severely Abused Animals, Risks His Life to Rescue Dogs From the Dog Meat Trade in China, Korea and Vietnam
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/22/16 -- Ching embarked on four dangerous rescue missions, visiting dog farms and slaughter houses by posing as a wealthy American dog meat buyer in order to rescue 214 dogs. Many of the dogs died as a result of the torture they endured but the lucky ones were rehabilitated and adopted. 35 dogs rescued from the meat trade were brought to the U.S. This rescue comes at a cost, however; Ching has been forced to his knees, a gun to his head and a machete to his throat in an attempt to save dogs facing imminent torture and death.
