(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 02/01/16 -- On Tuesday, Feb. 2, the Fraser Institute will release a study comparing the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) with five large public-sector pension plans in Ontario.

Proponents of expanding the CPP, and those in support of launching the Ontario Retirement Pension Plan, often claim that the relative costs of these plans decline as they grow and accumulate more assets.

Comparing the Costs of the Canada Pension Plan with Public Pension Plans in Ontario-co-written by Philip Cross, former chief economic analyst for Statistics Canada-explores those claims.

A news release with additional information will be issued via Marketwired on Feb. 2 at 5:30 a.m. (EST).
