WPCS Expands to Dallas and Hires Daniel Stringer as General Manager
Texas Expansion Fueled by Audio-Visual Integration Pilot
(firmenpresse) - SUISUN, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/29/16 -- WPCS International Incorporated (NASDAQ: WPCS), which specializes in low voltage communications and security contracting services, today announced that it has hired Mr. Daniel Stringer ("Mr. Stringer") as its General Manager to oversee its newly launched operation center in Dallas, Texas, both taking effect on March 7, 2016.
According to Sebastian Giordano, Interim CEO of WPCS, "We recently launched our Texas Operations by opening an office in San Antonio. While we plan to expand to major markets statewide, Dallas was the next logical choice since the pilot program we announced last week with Imaginet and Iluminari to provide a full turn-key solution and seamless integration of audio-visual systems, including unified communications, business intelligence and custom application software, will launch in Dallas. We are very pleased to have Dan join WPCS; he's the ideal person to oversee the pilot and grow our Dallas Operations."
Mr. Stringer has over 10 years of operational management experience in the installation of audio-visual systems, including: project management; job estimating; quality control; and implementing lean management. Prior to joining WPCS, Mr. Stringer worked as Regional General Manager for Collaboration Solutions, Inc., overseeing key national account customers and managing the installation of audio-visual systems at distribution centers in Texas, California and Oregon and as an Environmental Health and Safety professional for Caterpillar, Inc. Mr. Stringer has a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University and is Six Sigma Certified.
In his role as General Manager, Mr. Stringer will report to Robert Roller, President of WPCS International Suisun and Texas Operations, and work closely with Walter Wallace, Vice President of Sales and Business Development, in building the Company's audio-visual, security and structured cabling business.
