Unified Messaging Specialist serVonic

Both companies combine their forces under the roof of estos GmbH: estos has acquired serVonic GmbH, located in Olching near Munich, Germany, effective from January 1, 2016. In doing so, the respective competences merge into a complete product portfolio in the field of Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC). Strengthened by serVonic, estos will offer all the essential means of communication for companies from one hand for partners and customers: Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), Instant Messaging (Chat) and Presence Management, Audio / Video-Communication and Desktop Sharing from estos improve the collaboration within the company and also beyond individual enterprises by means of Federation. Unified Messaging Systems (UMS) from serVonic integrate Fax, Voicemail, SMS and IVR in market-leading messaging platforms. “Supplemented by the technologies and the products from serVonic, we will be able to offer our customers and partners additional value with a complemented portfolio“, Christoph Lösch, Managing Director of estos GmbH, explains. “The know how of serVonic’s staff is the ideal completion. With serVonic, we are optimally positioned in order to support companies on their way of digital transformation. And with the acquisition, we are going to stand out from our competitors even more apparently“, adds Florian Bock, also Managing Director of estos GmbH.
The two software developers combined can look back on 50 years of development competence and market presence in the field of software and telecommunication – estos has been successful with software products for 18 years, serVonic for 32 years.
Jochen Klein, Managing Director of serVonic GmbH, also confirms that both companies together can accomplish more: “estos and serVonic have been cooperating successfully for more than ten years up to now. The main technical themes complement each other perfectly. We look forward to being able to provide our services to even more customers and partners under the roof of estos.“
With the acquisition, estos continues its growth strategy. Since the foundation in 1997, the portfolio, the number of employees and the market presence in the field of Unified Communications and Collaboration, as of from the origin in Starnberg near Munich, Germany, has been expanded consequently. The objective is to be number one choice in terms of communication software for European countries.
In addition to the development branches in Leonberg near Stuttgart, Germany, and the sales subsidiaries Doetinchem in the Netherlands and in Udine, Italy, serVonic is going to be integrated in the estos group as Know How Center Messaging and subsidiary Olching, Germany. With the acquisition, estos employs 75 professionals.
