SAM Live! expands team and presents new SAM solution
(firmenpresse) - SAM Live! GmbH welcomes Filip Lauwereys and Filip Goris, two Software Asset Management experts with a proven track record. Both have years of Software Asset Management expertise and will expand the global leadership role of SAM Live! as a SAM Managed Service Provider. In particular, they will advance the introduction of the new SAM Live! Connect solution.
Filip Lauwereys got into IT Asset Management 21 years ago while developing Software Management Services for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a part of the Johnson & Johnson Holding. He is one of the founders of Microsoft SAM Workspace, the central platform for Microsoft SAM Partners worldwide. Additionally he has been a trainer for Software Asset Management, coaching partners and customers around the globe. Last year, he was awarded with Microsoft’s “Worldwide Microsoft Key Contributing Partner Award for Software Asset Management“ for his work. Filip Lauwereys will be acting as Director Business Development.
Filip Goris will be responsible for SAM Live!’s Connectivity products. Filip Goris has been working in the Asset Management area since 22 years. He developed tools, products and portals for countless customers enabling them to get an overview of their IT-Infrastructure and digital assets. “Filip is at home in the area between system administration and IT solution development, where you need development skills and administrative experience“, says Andreas Lindner, Director of SAM Live! GmbH.
“SAM Live!’s Managed Service solutions take all aspects of Software Asset Management into account, from existing hardware to complex license agreements“ says Filip Goris. Lauwereys adds: “Another unique point is the integration of SAM Live! Managed Service and Microsoft SAM Workspace, so customers can reply to Microsoft letters of inquiry by creating and sending the requested license reports with just a few clicks.“
In addition, extensive know-how of the two SAM experts will be integrated into SAM Live!’s Connect product. This solution connects SAM Live! with existing IT infrastructure management data, thus allowing an even more detailed and complete analysis of a customer’s digital assets. “The days of product based Software Asset Management are numbered”, says SAM Live! Director Lindner. „The future belongs to Managed Services because today’s companies need an ongoing comprehensive and comfortable Software Asset Management if they want to avoid breaching license rules of their licensers and get valuable data from an ongoing analysis of their IT infrastructure at the same time.
