Calian Appoints Jo-Anne Poirier as Director
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 02/29/16 -- Calian Technologies Ltd. (TSX: CTY) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jo-Anne Poirier to Calian's Board of Directors effective April 1, 2016.
Ms. Poirier offers more than 35 years of executive leadership including, Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton, Director of Finance and Administration (1982-1993), Deputy City Manager Corporation of the City of Gloucester (1993-2000), MBNA Canada Bank, First Vice President Business Development (2000-2003), United Way CEO, Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (2003 -2008), Ottawa Community Housing CEO (2008-2013). Ms. Poirier is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) Canada (2014-Present).
Ms. Poirier received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ottawa (1975-1978) and also has a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa (1979-1985). Ms. Poirier also has a graduate diploma in Public Management at Carleton University (2012-2014). She is passionate about being a lifelong learner.
