Keeping Pace with the Times - Pebble Chooses CELUM Digital Asset Management
(PresseBox) - Pebble Technology is well known as the innovator in the smartwatch industry, following their initial crowdfunded Kickstarter launch that raised over $10M in 2012. They have since grown to be a global company with a portfolio of smartwatch options, and are seen as a design leader in both smartwatch hardware and software. To gain global consistency in their brand communication they turned to CELUM.
As with most small startups, Pebble relied on an array of file sharing and archiving options across the organization, many of which were independently maintained and not clearly shared or managed. As a result, global brand and message consistency was a challenge, and access to creative assets was a problem for many across the organization.
Pebble Brand Director Chris Matthews, a former CELUM client at a previous company, says: ?I saw an opportunity to bring my DAM experience and the CELUM solution to a young and growing startup. The CELUM solution was ideal for Pebble: it's a well-organized and powerful system that doesn't sacrifice usability, making it easy to learn and use.?
The Software-as-a-Service implementation of CELUM at Pebble was fast and the first internal training sessions were smooth and well received, both at HQ and with international partners.
?The initial implementation of CELUM is housing all the digital assets for marketing, and there is openness to extending the system to other departments in the near future?, concludes Chris Matthews.
